The Filipino Association of Gloucestershire invites you to know the Philippines through food, music, and culture on Sunday, 14th May 2023, from 11 am to 5 pm at Kings Square, Gloucester City Centre, GL1 1RP. In its second year, Filipino Heritage Day promises to be bigger, better, and brighter than ever before.

The Gloucester Filipino Heritage Day is an annual celebration that highlights the rich culture and traditions of the Filipino community in Gloucester. This vibrant event features a variety of performances, food, and activities that showcase the beauty and diversity of Filipino culture. Attendees can enjoy traditional dances and music, taste authentic Filipino cuisine, and learn about the history and customs of the Philippines. The event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate with the Filipino community and experience the warmth and hospitality that is characteristic of Filipino culture.

Health and Wellbeing Event and World Nurses Day

According to the chairman of Filipino Association of Gloucestershire, Councillor Raymond Padilla of Matson, Robinswood and White City, this event is also aimed at promoting health and wellbeing, and also to celebrate World Nurses Day. Many Filipinos in the UK work as nurses and health care assistants in the NHS and in the private sector.
