Tinig UK is delighted to announce that award-winning Filipino author Anne Elicaño-Shields will be the judge of its World Children’s Day 2022 essay writing competition.
Previously based in Manila, Bangkok, and Washington DC, Anne’s work is inspired by the traditional myths and urban legends of these places. Her writing has been published as part of the How It Started anthology, performed at the London Literature Festival (Southbank Centre), and recorded for The Classical Association’s podcast.
Anne’s writing awards include: 2022 Creative Future Writers’ Award, 2021 FABPrize Promise Prize, 2021 London Writers Awards, 2020 Free Read Award (The Literary Consultancy), and more.
Anne is currently writing her first novel for young adults. She lives in London with her husband and two children. Follow her online.
